Spice Is Rite Express and Groceries is a family-run Jamaican take-out and Caribbean mini mart at 1872 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough, ON M1P 2L8, just north of Ellesmere in the Kennedy Rd and Progress Ave area. We serve jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat, cow foot, fried snapper and king fish, ackee & saltfish, homemade patties and fresh natural juices, cooked daily and served hot from our take-out window.
We are open seven days a week, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, with breakfast from 9:00 AM and the daily lunch special Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Alongside the kitchen, our mini mart stocks Caribbean pantry staples — rice, red peas, cornmeal, hard dough bread, canned mackerel, Jamaican teas, jerk seasoning, pepper sauce and cold drinks.
